I have played Hellforces to about half way and have been enjoying it. However, when i try and start the game the game appears to load up by the screen turning black but then it crashes to the desktop ...

i agree with you totally, walkthroughs just help the flow of the game and are not a form of cheating.

Pity there isnt a walkthrough for hellforces yet.

could well be, iam in a level where there is a locked door with the sound of rats behind with 2 statues in the room, i presumed i ahd to find a key to unlock the door but not sure.

Yeah what the hell, killing the dog was pretty easy, but not obvious, considering when shooting it, it seams indestructable since bullets were bouncing off of it!! :x
